Community Description

Home Care For Elderly provides specialized care for seniors with Alzheimer's, Dementia, or significant Memory loss. The physical design of the community provides safeguards for residents who may wander (e.g., circular floor plans), as well as caregivers specially trained to help those suffering from dementia or memory loss.

As an Assisted Living Community, Home Care For Elderly allows for residents to live independently in an apartment-like residence while still having access to assistance with daily living through the preparation of meals, medication administration, light housekeeping duties, and laundry. This is an ideal living situation for seniors who are in the middle ground of not being requiring the more intensive care of a nursing home or CCRC, but still requiring some level of assistance on a daily basis. This type of community is normally less expensive than other types of more intensive care (e.g., memory care). Best of all, Assisted Living communities like Home Care For Elderly can give you the peace of mind in knowing that your loved one is being cared for while maintaining a level of independence.

Compassionate hospice care is also available at Home Care For Elderly which will provide your loved ones and family members with high quality end of life care, as well as family support during such tough times.

Home Care For Elderly provides In-Home care. There are two types of in-home care: medical, which is considered "skilled", or non-medical (sometimes called "custodial"), which is for any non-medical support services delivered to a patient's residence. Medical in-home care services provided generally cover any medical care needs such as medication administration, whereas non-medical care services assist with day-to-day living needs (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meals. These services may also cover transportation, keeping up with bills, appointments, or even companionship and emotional support.

Home Care provided by services like Home Care For Elderly are generally available for patient care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Medical services that are provided to the patient or resident can be paid for by the client directly, or through one of the many public or private funding sources like Medicare or Medicaid (in some cases). Make sure you have verified your loved one's Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and take advantage of long term care insurance for financial assistance towards in-home care costs.
