Community Description

Change Of Pace Inc provides In-Home care. There are two types of in-home care: medical, which is considered "skilled", or non-medical (sometimes called "custodial"), which is for any non-medical support services delivered to a patient's residence. Medical in-home care services provided generally cover any medical care needs such as medication administration, whereas non-medical care services assist with day-to-day living needs (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meals. These services may also cover transportation, keeping up with bills, appointments, or even companionship and emotional support.

Home Care provided by services like Change Of Pace Inc are generally available for patient care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Medical services that are provided to the patient or resident can be paid for by the client directly, or through one of the many public or private funding sources like Medicare or Medicaid (in some cases). Make sure you have verified your loved one's Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and take advantage of long term care insurance for financial assistance towards in-home care costs.

Change Of Pace Inc:

My review was very negative so I certainly do not know why so many stars were awarded to Change of Pace. I would have given the organization one star in every category!

My review was not at all favorable. I have no idea why there are so many stars after each category. I certainly didn\'t put them there!

Change Of Pace Inc:

I was extremely disappointed with both the Day Care Facility ( My husband begged me not to take him back. His dementia is mild. I was also disappointed with the support group facilitator who was the main one. She did not know anything about me and objected to everything I did for my husband and never had any interaction with him. I was treated like a moron who just crawled out from under a rock. We were told to complain if we had problems with the program. Forget that. If you complained you were made to \"pay\" I now have a Day Care Provider. The CEO knows more about dementia than anyone at Change of Paced. It may cost me a little more but I can leave the house knowing my husband is receiving the very best care. I feel sorry for those who cannot afford to pay a little more for quality care. Two deficiencies were cited in the review. I wonder what they were. My overall and staff rating would be one star.
