Community Description

As an Assisted Living Community, Golden Valley Elderly Living allows for residents to live independently in an apartment-like residence while still having access to assistance with daily living through the preparation of meals, medication administration, light housekeeping duties, and laundry. This is an ideal living situation for seniors who are in the middle ground of not being requiring the more intensive care of a nursing home or CCRC, but still requiring some level of assistance on a daily basis. This type of community is normally less expensive than other types of more intensive care (e.g., memory care). Best of all, Assisted Living communities like Golden Valley Elderly Living can give you the peace of mind in knowing that your loved one is being cared for while maintaining a level of independence.

As a Senior Living Community, Golden Valley Elderly Living is designed for seniors who live independently and are capable of taking care of their basic needs. These communities often include apartments that range in sizes from large two bedroom to smaller dwellings for individuals. In these types of communities, seniors live independently, but may receive some helpful services such as housekeeping, laundry, and transportation. On-site banks, barber and beauty shops, convenience stores, and other amenities are also often provided.

Golden Valley Elderly Living:

My mom spent 6 months at Golden Valley Elderly Living before she passed away. Daphne and her staff were absolutely amazing! My mom had a beautiful room with lots of natural sunlight. Her room was clean and her private bathroom was always well stocked. She got 3 nutritious home cooked meals every day. I often visited unannounced and the conditions were always exactly the same--clean and tidy rooms, loving staff, and content residents. Daphne stayed in contact with me day and night letting me know how my mom was doing. When my mom became too weak to ring the service bell by her bed, Daphne went far beyond my expectations by asking her night staff to sit in the hall so that my mom could be heard when she was calling for assistance. It\'s obvious that she and her staff truly love their job, and they consider the residents to be family. I felt absolutely confident that my mom was receiving the best care possible at Golden Valley, and I recommend it wholeheartedly!
